2020 holiday gift guide for her
The busiest, most chaotic time of year is here and so is my first ever gift guide!
This holiday gift guide is absolutely inspired by the things I would want from the many sales going on right now, but I’m also pulling from my actual holiday wish list that I make every year.
Grab your cup of coffee and let’s window shop, shall we?

PARACHUTE HOME CLOUD COTTON ROBE — I stuck this robe on my baby registry as a gift for myself and woo! let me tell you that it’s probably my favorite piece of “clothing” at the moment. I’m so glad I got it and I wear it daily. The cotton really is that soft. So soft that we’re actually buying the duvet cover that comes in the same fabric because we like it so much! Lots of us are spending so much time at home, I think we all deserve to feel luxe and cozy while we do it. PS: Parachute is running their 20% off sale through Cyber Monday so now is a great time to save some moolah while we treat ourselves!
ELECTRIC SUN CREATIVES LIGHTCATCHER — I feel like we all need a pretty light catcher to spread rainbows around our homes after everything this beast of a year has thrown at us. It doesn’t hurt that they’re made by one of the coolest and nicest people I know, either! Seriously, if you know Sarah, you know she’s as awesome as her art!
MADEWELL CURVY ROADTRIPPER JEANS — I had my second baby in September and my body is slowly shedding some of the pregnancy weight. While I wait (and hope) to fit back into my favorite jeans again, I’m eyeing these jeans from Madewell. I haven’t tried the curvy fit before but I own an old pair in the roadtripper style and they’re the stretchiest jeans I own — perfect for those of us chasing toddlers! Also perfect for those of us who love wearing jeans but spend practically all day at home and just want to be comfy!
BERET — I’m always looking to channel my inner French girl and berets are one of my favorite ways of making myself feel like I’m strutting the cobblestone streets of Paris in autumn. (One day.) But seriously, berets are my favorite hat. I’m specifically looking for a red one this year to level up my Christmastime outfits.
MADEWELL BEANIE — Beanies always make me feel cool. They’re the least trendy trend out there because they always come back in some form or another. I’m working on rebuilding my beanie collection and love this one for its gorgeous color.
H&M RIBBED TURTLENECK SWEATER — I’m digging the taupey color of this one, but it comes in an off-white and a gorgeous green that I also want. Basically, I want this sweater in three colors! The shape, the chunky knit, and the balloon sleeve are all great little details of interest. My winter uniform is sweaters and jeans so a gift guide from me wouldn’t be complete without this.
MEJURI CHUNKY HOOPS — These earrings were sent to me as part of a collaboration with Mejuri, but they really are my go to dressy earrings. I have a thing for simple but gorgeous gold jewelry and these are honestly beautiful; the perfect subtle statement piece for the days where you want to feel a little fancy! Mejuri’s sale goes through Cyber Monday.
OUR PLACE COLORED DRINKING GLASSES — Can you guess why I like these glasses? That’s right, the color! We’ve been rocking our cheap but mighty IKEA glassware for years now, but something about being 31 makes me want nice drinking glasses that bring me joy. That’s right: I just said I want my drinking glasses to bring me joy. Anyway, these are so cool and I’m sure they’ll go great with the Always Pan I think all of us are hoping to get our hands on this holiday! PS: Our Place is also running a sale at the moment!
EVERLANE EASY CHINO PANT — Because I’m in the middle of the fourth trimester (aka postpartum) and don’t have access to my usual denim, I’ve found myself wearing my elastic waist linen pants allthetime. These chinos from Everlane caught my eye because they have an elastic waist and would be a good neutral base for all those green sweaters I have.
INSTAX MINI CAMERA — I’m the absolute worst at printing photos so it’s no surprise I love my Instax camera. I get all the joy of tangible photos without the wait. If you’re getting one for someone, remember to stock them up on film too!
ONE LINE A DAY JOURNAL — A five year journal that only requires you to record a tiny blub every day. I’m currently using one and I can’t wait to look back on it in a few years! Great for people who want to memory keep but don’t have the time or energy (or desire) to do something really in depth and time consuming.
MADEWELL WINDOWPANE ELMCOURT COAT — I’m loving this rich brown with the windowpane pattern. If you know me, you know I don’t gravitate to pattern, but this one is simple enough for me. It’s that subtle statement piece, which is why I love it!
GLOSSIER THE MAKEUP SET — I was super late to the Glossier trend, but thankfully my friend introduced me to boy brow last Christmas! I’ve been a convert ever since. I am not a fan of full coverage makeup. Matte makeup doesn’t look good on my dry skin so I opt for more natural looking, dewy finishes. My current routine is almost exclusively Glossier, so I mean it when I say I love this stuff! The fragrance is pretty amazing, too!
