The halfway mark of the summer 10x10 is here!

I was really excited about this outfit when I was thinking through my looks for the challenge. In my head this outfit was going to feel light and airy and summery but in reality, it's pretty boring.

I even thought the bright yellow earrings would be enough of a statement! But with everything else being so neutral and matchy, the outfit ended up looking (and feeling) flat.

Also let's be real, this purse is in the photo to make me feel a little less like a mom. The reality is I use my diaper backpack exclusively.

Even though this outfit is less than photo-worthy, I do have to admit how comfortable and easy it is. It's an outfit that lends itself well to the new mom lifestyle I'm embracing because it's beyond comfortable. Plus white tends to hide spit up decently well. Ha!

I think next time I go to wear this outfit (because, let's face it, I will) I'll either style it with a bright purse or tie my red bandana around my neck or in my hair.
