New season

Here we are, guys. Another blog with a new name and new colors to chronicle life. Except this time, you won't find me writing for the sake of writing or sharing my innermost insecurities and thoughts with the interwebz just for fun. Nope. See, last time around, I was in a funk. More honestly, I was in a season of depression. Life wasn't looking as promising as I'd planned it to and I couldn't seem to enjoy anything. Cue a blog with endless to-do lists and subsequent failure to complete said to-do lists (but also with a some good adventures thrown in).

Now, two years later, I'm in a better place psychologically, emotionally and spiritually. 

I'm writing this on the first day of autumn and it feels almost metaphorical to shed the emotions cataloged on my old site the way I see the trees shedding their summer leaves.

My point, friends, is I'm excited for what will come of this space -- because I've tried to tell myself I didn't have anything worth sharing and I still haven't managed to make it convincing.

So here we go...again! The site is still under construction, which means you'll have to bear with me for a while. I just knew that if I didn't hit publish now, I would keep making excuses not to start.
