Spring 10x10 Day 9
Oh man, the Spring 10x10/Unfancy Remix is almost over! I can hardly believe it! I feel like I’ve learned so much from limiting myself this much.
I mean, at the very least I know I hate limits this strict. I’m working on a debriefing post where I’ll share what I’ve learned from doing the challenge for next week.
If you want to see the 10 pieces I’m wearing for this challenge, you can find 'em right here.
[Copper tee (thrifted) similar, similar / Light wash skinny jeans / High top sneakers / Fossil crossbody (vintage) similar]
I was honestly a little shocked that this top didn’t get worn more during the challenge, but the weather turned out to be way gloomier than what I planned for. The cool part is it gave me a chance to experiment with how I style my wardrobe basics.
The gloom broke on Day 8 and I got a chance to break out this t shirt again!
Even though Day 8 landed on a Saturday, the usual routine of hanging at a coffee shop before work stayed the same. The bonus this time was getting to do the pre-work stuff with Brandon around. We spent a few hours hanging out before I headed to work and he headed to rehearsal.
I’m a little obsessed with this copper color. I don’t know if I’m trying to will summer to hurry up or what, but I can’t get enough of copper and turmeric yellow right now. It’s one of the reasons I love this top. I think pairing this tee with light wash denim gave me a nice change of pace from all the black I’d been wearing.
I honestly don’t think I’ve worn this much black since my emo high school phase. But I kinda have to admit that I didn’t mind revisiting it as my fave neutral.
Anyway, this easy, light and comfy look was my outfit for Day 9! Tomorrow I’m sharing my look for the final day of the 10x10 challenge. Well, sort of. The challenge ended on Easter Sunday and I decided to dress up for it, so you’ll see non-10x10 pieces in that outfit.
